Upgrading Veeam Recovery Orchestrator 7.0

In this post, we will discuss how to upgrade Veeam Recovery Orchestrator (VRO) to 7.0.

We need to check the upgrade checklist below.

Preparation: Veeam Data Platform v12.1 installation iso and required licenses.

1. Launch Splash Window, click Upgrade.

2. Click Veeam Recovery Orchestrator 7.

3. At the License Agreement, read and click “I Accept“.

4. Review components to upgrade, click Next.

5. Browse the license file, click Next.

6. Perform System Configuration Check.

7. Review SQL Server Connection Settings, click Next.

8. Upgrade the required database, click Yes.

9. Click Upgrade.

10. Click Finish if the upgrade is successfully completed.

11. Open the Veeam Backup & Replication console on each remote Veeam Backup & Replication server to update Veeam Backup & Replication components installed on all managed servers. To perform the update, follow the steps of the Components Update wizard.

12. Open the Orchestrator UI and make sure all Orchestrator agents running on remote Veeam Backup & Replication servers have also been upgraded successfully.

13. To perform upgrade of Veeam ONE Monitor Client to version 12.1.
