VMware vCenter Server 6.7 deployment

In this post, we will deploy a new VMware vCenter Server 6.7 appliance. First we download the vCenter 6.7 installer at VMware website, then execute the installer and click “Install”. Please check the following requirement before the deployment.

Next.

Accept the license agreement, then Next.

Select the deployment type, we choose “Embedded Platform Service Controller”, then Next.

Input the information of the target host for vCenter 6.7, then Next.

When it connects the target host, accept it.

Select the target folder, then Next.

Select the compute resource, then Next.

Input the name and root password for new vCenter appliance, then Next.

Select the deployment size, we choose “Tiny” and Next.

select the target datastore, then Next.

Input the network settings for the appliance, then Next.

It starts to the deployment when we click “Finish” button.

It will go to installation stage 2 when it finish the stage 1, next Continue.

Next.

Setup the appliance configuration, then Next.

Setup SSO configuration, we can create new SOO domain or Join an existing SSO domain. Then Next.

Next.

It starts the final deployment.

When the deployment is completed successfully, we can launch the vSphere Client (HTML5).

Finally we need to enable the vCenter 6 license, this deployment is completed.
