VMware vSphere Replication 6.5

How to configure the virtual machine replication by VMware vSphere Replcation 6.5. Firstly you make sure that vSphere Replication 6.5 is enabled on vCenter server 6.5, then you right click the virutal machine, then select “All vSphere Replication Actions” and choose “Configure Replication”.


Select replication type, “Replicate to a vCenter Server” or “Replicate to a cloud provider”


Select the target site, then next.


Select which vSphere Replication server that will handle the replication, then next. NOTE: You can select one more vSphere Replication server for each replication.


Select the target location, then next.


You can enable network compression for VR data, then next.


Finally you can choose your Recocery Point Objective (RPO) or enable Point in time Instances, then next.


After click Finish, it starts the virtual machine replication.
