Essential VSAN: Administrator’s Guide to VMware Virtual SAN

VMware Virtual SAN (VSAN) is a new storage solution from VMware, released in 2013, that is fully integrated with vSphere. It is an object-based storage system and a platform for VM Storage Policies that aims to simplify virtual machine storage placement decisions for vSphere administrators. It is fully integrated with core vSphere features, such as vSphere HA, DRS, and vMotion, and it provides both resiliency as well as scale-out storage functionality.

Cormac Hogan and Duncan Epping have created this essential guide to help administrators to get up and running on this new storage solution from VMware.
